About
Electricians do the work. Billing shouldn't be the hard part.
SubFlo is an AI billing agent for electrical subcontractors. On billing day it messages the foreman, turns his text or voice note into the month's pay application (G702/G703 style) and lien waiver, and once the office approves, sends them to the general contractor and follows up until the money arrives.
Why we built it
The idea started in a café in Budapest. One of us overheard a man on the phone, angry that missing details on his paperwork meant he hadn't been paid, for the third time. The work was done; the billing wasn't. We spent the next few months talking it through and learning how subcontractors bill: percent complete chased from the field, retyped into spreadsheets, and pay apps sent back for small mistakes.
So SubFlo starts where billing really starts, with the foreman's update. The AI reads it and asks a question if something's unclear. Code does every dollar of math from your contract, and nothing goes to a GC until you approve it.
The team
- Jatin Bishla, Co-founder and CEO. An AI engineer who builds the agent and the product end to end.
- Gaurav, Co-founder and CPO. A product manager who leads what SubFlo does for the office and the field.
We worked together for two years at Acefone, shipping software products, before starting SubFlo. SubFlo is made by Pyng Labs.
Talk to us
We're setting SubFlo up with our first electrical subcontractors now. If you run billing for an electrical sub, tell us about your jobs and we'll walk you through it on one of your own schedules of values.
